How big is your franchise network?

We're big. We are North America's largest private sale franchisor and you can find our signs in over 600 communities across Canada. We are one of the fastest growing franchises in Canadian history, opening more franchises in our first ten years than Tim Hortons and Subway combined.

We're small. All of our franchisees are supported by a professional coach who is focused on helping them build their business. Our franchisees are in touch constantly sharing experiences and cheering each other on. There are nights on the town with the girls and we've been known to make it to a few sporting events.

Do you struggle during recession?

Everyone struggles during a recession except for bankruptcy lawyers. We do far better than most business. Our commission-free proposition is even more attractive during a market downturn, when homeowners need to save money and protect their equity. Periods of recession often lead to accelerated market share gains for our franchisees.

What about real estate agents?

The good ones actually like us. The truth is that good agents recognize that not everyone needs a real estate agent and focus on providing exceptional value for those people who do. Many real estate agents are asking to partner with our franchisees in various ways. The truth is that there are a lot of agents out there who don't actually do a lot of work for their four and five figure commission cheques. Those agents can get pretty mad at us for giving consumers choice.

How do I get started?

Once we've both decided you're a great fit we'll walk you through the paper work and save your seat at PropertyGuys.com University. At PGU you'll be connected with your coaches and learn the skills and strategies you need to know to get started.

Does PropertyGuys.com provide financing?

Not directly but our franchise team can direct you to programs and financial institutions where you can acquire the capital you require. We have a fantastic relationship with these partners, we're happy to put you in touch with them.

What equipment do I need to invest in to get started?

Good news - not much. You will need a computer, digital camera, fax machine, internet access, dedicated business line and the PropertyGuys.com start-up package. We also highly recommend that you invest in a copy of the E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber.

How does PropertyGuys.com connect franchisees with home office?

We're a company built entirely around personal relationships. Home office will be constantly in contact letting you know of new programs and strategies that may benefit your business. Your coaching team will be your personal connection to the home office team. We'll share tips for reducing costs and growing your market. You'll also find a community of franchisees on Facebook and Twitter and find plenty of videos from PGU and home office on YouTube.
